Barefoot Institute provides mediation for family disputes. At times family members fail to find a mutually acceptable solution to their problems. Mediation is an effective conflict resolution process without legal intervention. It is informal, unlike the court and is tailored to every individual’s needs.

How does mediation work?

Your mediator will request some basic information from all parties involved in the dispute. He/she will meet you all for the first time on the mediation day agreed by everyone and at a convenient and neutral location. Your mediator will not provide legal advice but help you through the process of negotiating and finding a solution to your dispute that is satisfying for all parties involved.

Mediation can be arranged either through our Fixed Fee Scheme or Flexible Mediation Scheme, depending on your needs, time involved, location and the nature of the dispute.
